1. The service
Nettiqa School Cloud provides school administration, academic recording, reporting and controlled parent-access tools. Features may evolve as the platform is improved.
2. School authority and accounts
The person registering a school confirms that they have authority to act for that school. Each user must provide accurate information, keep credentials confidential and promptly disable access that is no longer authorized. Accounts may not be shared between unrelated users.
3. School responsibilities
- Obtain the authority required to process staff and student information.
- Keep records accurate and correct errors promptly.
- Assign appropriate users and permissions.
- Review marks, comments and reports before publication.
- Maintain a lawful backup or record-retention practice appropriate to the school.
4. Acceptable use
Users must not access another school’s data, attempt to bypass security, upload harmful material, interfere with the service, impersonate another person, or use the platform for unlawful, abusive or misleading purposes.
5. Academic decisions
The platform assists with calculations, organization and report preparation. The school remains responsible for grading choices, official results, promotions, comments and all academic decisions. AI-assisted wording must be reviewed by an authorized person.
6. Fees and plans
Where a paid plan applies, pricing, billing period and included services will be communicated before payment. A school is responsible for approved charges and applicable taxes. Non-payment may result in restricted access after reasonable notice.
7. Availability and changes
Nettiqa aims to provide a reliable service but maintenance, connectivity failures, security events or circumstances beyond reasonable control may interrupt access. Features may be updated where needed for security, compliance or product improvement.
8. Intellectual property
Schools retain responsibility for their records and branding. Nettiqa retains rights in the platform software, design, documentation and brand. No licence is granted to copy, resell or reverse engineer the service except where the law expressly permits it.
9. Suspension and termination
Access may be suspended for serious security risk, unlawful activity, material breach or unpaid charges. Schools may request account closure, subject to verification, outstanding obligations and reasonable backup-retention periods.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Nettiqa is not responsible for decisions made from inaccurate information entered by users, unauthorized credential sharing, third-party connectivity failures or indirect losses. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Contact and governing law
