How Nettiqa School Cloud handles account, school and student information.

Effective date: 27 September 2026

Summary: Schools control the educational records they place in their workspace. Nettiqa Digital Solutions Ltd operates the platform and processes that information to provide, secure and support the service.

1. Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to school administrators, teachers, parents, guardians and other people who access Nettiqa School Cloud. A participating school is responsible for deciding which student and staff records it enters and who it authorizes to use them.

2. Information handled by the platform

3. Why information is used

Information is used to create and secure school workspaces, manage academic workflows, produce reports, provide parent access, deliver support, prevent misuse, maintain backups and improve the reliability of the platform. Nettiqa does not sell student personal information.

4. Children’s information

Schools must have appropriate authority to enter and use children’s information. Parent access is limited to the student code supplied by the school and reports that the school has published. Schools should not place unnecessary sensitive information in free-text fields.

5. Sharing and service providers

Information may be handled by authorized Nettiqa personnel and infrastructure providers only where necessary to host, secure, back up or support the service. Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law or to protect users and the platform.

6. Security and retention

Nettiqa uses access controls, HTTPS, account authentication, separated school workspaces and operational backups. No online system can promise absolute security. Records are retained while the school account is active and as reasonably necessary for backup, legal, security and dispute purposes.

7. Access, correction and deletion requests

Students and parents should first contact their school because the school manages the educational record. Schools may contact Nettiqa for technical assistance with access, correction, export or deletion requests, subject to identity verification and applicable retention requirements.

8. Cookies and sessions

The platform uses essential session technology to keep users signed in securely. These functions are necessary for the portal and are not used to sell advertising profiles.

9. Contact

Questions or privacy requests may be sent to info@nettiqa.com. Include the school name and your relationship to the school, but do not send passwords or full student records by email.
